An Announcement
I've been thinking about how to write this post for the past week or so and today I felt like I just had to come out and say it — Kollo is closing.
About a year ago, I set out to make the chillest game on dreamwidth. I missed playing with friends who didn't have time for games and I was sad to see so many of the rpers around me stressed out about activity checks, rough events and trying to keep up during times when life didn't really allow for it. So, Kollo happened and I think I achieved what I set out to do. It's been a chill, easy ride.
But even chill rides need to come to an end. As of today, Kollo will not be accepting applications, no events will be run and I won't man the NPCs. I'll keep the comm open if anyone still wants to continue using it as a sandbox but other than that, it'll be completely un-moderated.
Thanks for this time - it's been great playing with you all and even greater to share a bit of my culture in the progress!

I hate the fact that I ended up disappearing from the game because, however chill the activity requirements, I still couldn't reconcile not keeping up with it in my head and thus ended up not tagging at all. I think it was a great effort and I *loved* learning all about the elements of your culture, Rica, and getting to expand upon our characters' storyline. I just wish I had more of me to go round for RP. Even my (very few) PSL threads, which obviously lack the pressure of having to keep up with a game, have been getting very, very slow over the last few months. :-(
That said, I am with Emily in that if you ever want to continue our storyline, or start another one, in the future, I would always be up for that. Just... maybe not for the next few months! :-D
