Weather conditions
Autumn is setting in properly by now. The leaves on the trees are bright yellow, orange and red, with some of them already falling to the ground to gather in crunchy piles. It's starting to get cold out and unless you're basking in the mid-autumn sunlight you're probably better off with a jacket on. The weather is still decent, with the occasional thunderstorm rolling in as the temperatures drop.
There are more sightings of moose and deer around this time of year, as they sneak into the gardens to eat fallen fruit.
Watch out for drunk moose.
House Gnome Mayhem
You may have noticed that although the Community Center Kitchen is always fully stocked with food and drink, no one is ever seen actually cooking anything. Food just appears, freshly made and piping hot... until now.
The first sign that something is afoot is the absence of food. The refrigerator is still stocked, but the counters remain empty and the stove is cold. Guests who like to take their meals in the community center will have to take matters into their own hands if they want something hot to eat.
Secondly, guests may realise that some of their belongings have gone missing. This can be anything from knick knacks, books from the library, clothes or more important, sentimental items. Maybe they just misplaced the item? Maybe a cabinmate took it? Or maybe, an unseen force is tired of being taken for granted...
Those who choose to investigate this mystery may notice movement out of the corner of their eye, the smell of tobacco smoke or a faint, gruff voice that they can't quite place. Some may even be lucky enough to confront the culprit directly and get their stuff back sooner! Regardless, the items will be returned by mid-June once management has re-negotiated the House Gnomes contract.
