Hello everybody! I'm ed and I'll be playing Garr from the 20+ year old game Breath of Fire III, a quirky, brightly colored RPG about dragons, wacky animal people, onions, fishing, weapons of mass destruction and faith in humanity. Also, you can make sushi! Or 'shisu', excuse me.

Garr is roughly 500 years old and a Guardian, which his people, the Urkans, also call angels of God. (Urkans are human and so was he, but he's likely to conveniently leave that part out.) Urkans are pacifists and their God is a God of Life - but it's the sort of pacifism and love of Life where "even a monster's life is sacred" but if one creature gets out of control and runs around threatening to kill everything else and ruin the ecosystem, you find it and you tear its head off. (This led to God and her Guardians doing some extremely unfortunate things that one time, but Garr got better.)

He is very large (7'5" and built like a tank), kind of habitually scary but ultimately evolved into a Team Dad in spite of himself, more thoughtful than you might expect a giant brute-looking monster to be, and prone to drinking heavily.

I'll be bringing him from post-canon, the "fight Myria" ending specifically, so he's a walking spoiler for the plot of an ancient game and also his God is dead now and so is he. He could definitely use the vacation. :|

Hello everyone! I go by Nick and this was a last minute app I hadn't planned out at all. I just saw this game and decided, "I want in". Anyway! I'm bringing in James Sunderland from that old PS2 game Silent Hill 2.

He's a totally normal guy who isn't slightly off at all who just happened to one day get a letter from his dead wife asking him to meet her at their "special place" which ended up being infested with monsters and the literal manifestations of all his fears and worries. It all kind of went down hill from there. This vacation is much needed though he'll have a hard time doing that thing called, "relaxing". I also have a permissions post up that you should all check out, mostly for the Opt Out because Silent Hill deals with some really rough subjects and it's better safe than sorry. Edit: OH YEAH SILLY ME he's also staying in the Blueberry cabin I should probably mention that!

Hello Kollo!

My name's Drea (she/her/hers) and I bring you Archie Kennedy from the Hornblower TV/film series. Archie is a lieutenant on HMS Renown, which is currently captained by James Sawyer, a Naval hero-turned-very ill man. Captain Sawyer's paranoia has been making him start to act out against his officers, of which Archie is one and his boyfriend best friend of almost ten years is another. This is very bad for Archie, Horatio (the bf,) and everyone else on the ship. Unfortunately for Archie, he's the only one of the officers that is a) really noticing at this point how bad things are getting and b) is thinking about doing something about it.

So! Archie is now here on the island to take a break and maybe plan a small murder for when he gets back. He does have a very Tragic Backstory (TM) even beyond this particular situation and I ask that you make sure to take a look at his permissions just to make sure you're able to let me know if there's anything in his history that you'd rather I avoid discussing in threads with you. I am hopeful that this will just be a time for chill happytimes for him here without anything triggering memories of Tragic Backstory (TM,) but just to be safe, take a peek!

All this said, he is very good and sweet and has the patience of a saint. Once he decides you're a friend, you're a friend for life and he will lay down his life or kill for you. You'll catch him rooming at Wolf Cabin or probably out by the port, doin' a sailing. He might even try to learn how to fish. Anyone who likes the water is welcome to join him!
