Hello friends! I'm Molly, and I'm bringing in Hope from the iphone (and also now computer) game République! It's about dystopian surveillance states and sneaking around and good but confusing world-building that doesn't totally make sense once you put it all together.

390-H, or Hope, is the protagonist and is mostly a sweet young woman who has just gone through a lot of bad shit. She's never been outside before and hopes to make friends with you all.

I'm Artemis, bringing you North from Detroit: Become Human. My plurk is cynicalharlequin

North has been one of the leaders of the literal robot revolution in her world, only that the robots are the good guys here. Her experiences with humans have been bad to terrible and she doesn't think highly of them as a species, but guys, she's Trying Her Best. Coming to Norrhamn is kind of her trying to try her best. She is gruff and a little abrasive, deeply cynical about people's true nature. Yet she cares deeply and will readily sacrifice herself for those under her care. She's a warrior in a world which, now that the war has been won, needs peacemakers, and she's hoping Kollo will prepare for this new role.

For those canon familiar, she comes from best end pacifist path, shortly post-revolution.

I realize D:BH is controversial for good reasons so I've got an opt-out post, no hard feelings!

I'm Dove, and this is Calpurnia Virginia Tate, aka Callie Vee, from Jacqueline Kelly's Calpurnia Tate books.

If you aren't familiar with them, they're a series of middle grade and early reader books that start with The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate. Callie is a 12-year-old girl from outside Austin, Texas, circa 1900. She loves animals, science, and the outdoors--much to the dismay of her parents, who expect her to settle into becoming A Nice Young Lady who gives a damn about things like tatting lace or baking pies. This doesn't square neatly with Callie's dreams of going to college and becoming a veterinarian, so she's coming to Sweden for a break she desperately needs.

I'm Ansem, and I play this original character Viola Avelide. She's a raven harpy from an OCverse that's reminiscent of some cross between Castlevania and Changeling the Lost, but less grim in its dark. You'll probably get that from just how... cheerful she is, even with her morbid sense of humor.

Viola was a rich girl born from a harpy mother and human father who helped dispatch a nasty Unseelie cult. But due to the fact that unseelie regularly employ changelings and pretty much hate "pure" humans, there's tension between humans/changelings/fae and her parents hid her until she could perfect her human disguise. So as a result she might be a little out there and often too curious for her own good.

The last time I did anything with her she wound up being cursed by a human who wanted to get at an old book her parents had. But Viola had more friends than enemies, including her world's equivalent of a Belmont who fried said human AND the cursed monster who showed up as a result. But it was still a little scary so she could use a little less danger in her life.

Maybe. She's still too curious to worry about danger.

hello friends! i'm celen, here with kieren walker from the not-that-well-known gem that is bbc's in the flesh, a cheerful show dealing with cheerful issues such as the medicated undead, discrimination, suicide and mental illness!

anyway, kieren is one of the aforementioned undead, meaning he died and came back to life. sort of life. he's kind, wry, and generally unable to leave anything he sees as wrong or unfair alone.

and because i decided his life wasn't bad enough in canon, he's coming in with memories from a previous game (ryslig, you may have heard of it) where things were 10000x worse.
